The Remembralls Team

Andy and Jami Marzano are a brother/sister, Harry Potter obsessed duo. Read on to learn more about your HP Trivia hosts.

Jami Marzano

Slytherin

Jami is best known as Andy Marzano’s little sister and is thrilled to be hosting HP Trivia alongside her big bro.

Her other big brother introduced her to the Harry Potter books when she was too young to totally understand what was going on and she’s been hooked since. Her best memories from high school are waiting in line for hours for the movie premiers and release of the Deathly Hallows book. Her favorite book is Order of the Phoenix and is a true believer that Hermione is the main character despite the book titles.

Jami is a wedding planner and enjoys hanging out with her cat and doing puzzles in her free time.

Andy Marzano

Gryffindor

Andy is one of Jami’s older brothers but follows her lead in virtually every other facet of life, including The Remembralls. While Andy is who you will likely see out front leading the trivia sessions, just remember it is Jami who is the business mind behind all of it.

As a basic-ass, stereotypical millennial, Andy has read and reread the Harry Potter series many times and also loves the Lord of the Rings original trilogy and venting with other millennials about the state of our society and disparaging other generational groups. “The Half-Blood Prince'' is his favorite book in the series and Arthur Weasley is his self-ascribed character equivalent. Andy has worked in the education field for his whole career including as a high school teacher and student services professional at the University of Washington, his alma mater.

Community Engagement

The Remembralls strive to think critically about the greater society we are part of and how even things we enjoy, like Harry Potter, are not black and white, good or bad. While we love and enjoy the story and community it has created, we recognize the harm that comments from its creator have caused.

50% of all proceeds from HP Trivia by The Remembralls will go to Trans Lifeline through our Team Donations Page.

“You sort of start thinking anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”
